DECEMBER 2025 - As a parent of not only a great kid who loves lacrosse, I wanted to reach out and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I also wanted to thank you for the D2 lax showcase program that you have put together. If you recall, we previously communicated because Blake was unable to sign up as all middle spots were full. So, another thank you for getting him in the Florida showcase on 10/19. Blake was a late bloomer and grew 4 inches and put on 20 lbs over the summer. (6’1 and 175lbs) He did terrific at the showcase and was selected for the All-Star team. I must admit, as a parent, not knowing what to expect of the showcase, I initially thought that this was a money grab. I 100% stand corrected. Your D2 showcase was well run, and the colleges in attendance were terrific. The result for Blake was that he received the exposure he needed, worked hard on the field, and had at least five colleges reach out to him. After a pretty crazy fall schedule playing for Eclipse Florida, Maryland LC, and his high school team, Blake had at least 20-25 universities reach out to him, ranging from D1, D2, and D3. But your showcase is what connected us to Embry-Riddle, and he made his decision to commit to Embry-Riddle and coach Jez earlier this month. So again, as a parent, thank you for putting this program together, what you are doing “DOES” make a difference!!
